cfrag Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I know they kinda/sorta work, but there is a lot wonky in the current implementation: - they don't show in MP on non-server - you can't view them in Fx - detecting a train kill or in train unit zone is hit and miss I'd love to have this fixed so we can have real MP missions where we hunt for trains 1
JetJake76 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I've recently tried to make a "train hunt" mission for Ka-50 and I second that. Additionally, tains do not react on waypoint events, and you can't control their speed - they always roll the same speed as civillian traffic trains. And trains don't stop at final waypoints - they simply start moving backwards.

Has DCS gone this far with trains still in this condition? IIRC, you need to disable civ traffic for mission trains to appear. Also, last time I checked they only appear on the server, so MP missions with trains are out.
