Hello, I am using Thrustmaster WARTHOG throttle, joystick and rudder peddles in VR DCS F18. I was binding/map keys on the throttle and joystick and had to reset their profile because I am new, and messed things up. 🙂 When I deleted and added the existing Thrustmaster throttle and joystick profiles, I saw a "Rudder" profile but it was not Thrustmaster...it did not work and, the Thrustmaster Rudder peddles no longer work. I looked in Windows Control Panel, the rudder peddles show as T-Rudder under devices. I am able to see them work when used/tested in the control panel, but not when I am using VR DCS F18.

The rudder peddles were working fine until I decided to try and bind/map keys on the throttle and joystick and had to delete the profiles and load the existing profiles.

What do I need to do to get the rudder peddles working again?

Thanks in advance!

First thing I would look for: Make sure that only the Rudder Pedals are the only device that you have bound to the rudders in DCS. If there are other devices that also have this axis bound, unbind them. They can fight with each other.

Also confirm that you can see the rudder inputs in the axis tune section of DCS move when you move them. If they are moving in there, it is working correctly (and then probably means that it's fighting with another controller that's bound to the same).

If they're not showing up in DCS axis tune section correctly - I'm unsure of where to go. Either way -reporting back here what you're observing there will help others to assist further if my suggestion does not work.

Dangerzone, thanks a bunch, that is what was happening. Price of being a "newbe".

Also, would you know where I can get a list of what each of the "custom snap view 1, 2, 3, 4..." are? I would like to map the coolie switch (possibly) so I can see closer up on the screens in the cockpit. I am old... 🙂

Don't sweat it. That problem I reckon traps the majority of us at some stage (and still gets me from time to time!)

I wish ED would put in a yellow warning in scenario's where an axis was bound to more than one connected controller in the list in a similar way that they do if a binding includes a mod to a controller that is disconnected.

Can't help you with the snapviews sorry.
