I took advantage of my holidays to update the missions in this pack, if you already downloaded the previous (2.0) I advise you to use LOMAN to remove it before installing this new one.

 

The missions remain unchanged but I tweaked them a lot , so that they now are better balanced and timed.

 

You can fly 24 missions, 12 on the NATO side and 12 on the Russian side - and there are 3 NATO (F-15,Fulcrum,Flanker) sets and 2 Russian (Fulcrum,Flanker) sets.

 

You will notice that flying the same mission on the Flanker or the F-15 is quite different, and i found it quite a lot of fun to try to fight them on the Flanker.

 

Oh ... I improved the SAM defenses, they are as deadly as always!

Many thanks, i have to say i am currently enjoying the flanker missions in v2 very much, they are incredibly well thought out. And very hard :evil:

They are - those guys are really after you! but that is Lock On virtue : AI is not to be fooled with.

 

Many times I had to jump from cockpit to cockpit just to make it to the end of the mission ... and then have some MiG-29A shoot me down - with guns! :D

 

I use a simple set of tactics that I learned with Jane's F/A-18 and work very well with Lock On to evade AAM and SAMs, I'll post some screenshots with them later on this weekend.
