Quest 2 or rift s with 2700x and gtx1080. Is the quest 2 feasible?

Ok, after seeing how things look in 2.5.6, I have regained some faith in my purchase. I also need to check if there are any Nvidia settings I need to tweak, even though it seems VR isn't run through the card?

I don t see much difference from 72,80 and 90 hz....Is It possibile?
In wireless mode if It Is Better what about the latency?

I have an I-5 4690K @4.8Ghz and a 1060OC 6Gb. Do you think I'd be OK? And what are the pro's and con's of wireless over wired? My Wifi is pretty reasonable I think. I'm thinking of selling a Banjo to raise some cash... !

I tried it briefly and didn’t notice any latency but my router is right next to my pc

U would be much better off with the rift s than the quest 2.  It’s probably feasible(still can’t promise) but you’ll have to turn everything down probably close to all the way.   The vr experience is absolutely worth it tho. I’ll take zero eye candy in vr over all the eye candy in 2d all day.  Vr is just everything dcs should be.   
mill jever go back to 2d.  
Mira gonna make u want to upgrade tho so just know you’re gonna wanna spend some money
