Hounddawg Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 Hi all, I created a mission and all was working fine. Loaded it up after taking a week off and now the carrier ATC is giving me ATC ground prompts instead of carrier prompts. I deleted the carrier and put a new one in- same thing. Any way to resolve this issue?
norman99 Posted April 10, 2021 Posted April 10, 2021 (edited) Just to rule out the obvious, make sure you have tuned the correct radio frequency of the carrier. Even if you select the carrier in the comms menu, if you are still tuned to a ground tower frequency, that's who you will be calling. Otherwise, I'm not to sure. I've never experienced this myself. Hounddawg Posted April 10, 2021 Author Posted April 10, 2021 Thanks Norman- checked that and it is set to the correct radio frequency. Tried a new mission and same thing happens- doesnt give me the "see me at 10" dialogue and instead gives me the airfield comms.
Hounddawg Posted April 11, 2021 Author Posted April 11, 2021 SOLVED- I had reinstalled DCS as I had a new rig, but had not downloaded the supercarrier. Marshall comms comes with the supercarrier. Once I installed that content I got the marshall back.
