Getting a lot of game freezes since 2.7 for some reason?

Not sure if this goes into game crash section or not. I'm not getting "dcs crashed" situations where I can submit a report. It's just seemingly at random times my game is freezing and not responding, requiring a ctrl al del to shut it down. This has happened a couple times during menu loads, and a couple times in the midst of a dog fight in instant action.

 

I have no idea how to recreate it or what is causing it.... just that I know these are happening since 2.7 because my game wasn't freezing before. And I just spent a week playing a lot of another sim without game freezes so I think this is DCS specific and not something else with my system. 

 

Any ideas?

It did help me, to use the new Nvidia driver, if you got Nvidia and not AMD that is....
