schroedi Posted May 26, 2021 Posted May 26, 2021 The title says it all, you can't mount anything other than bombs to the CFT hardpoints of the F-15E anymore. If you select a predefined loadout you still have them, but not with a new loadout.
Grimes Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 Its been like that for a while now and its been done on purpose. I'll re-raise the bug report in hopes they might change it back. There is a workaround that kinda shows how pointless it is to limit the weapons. On the payload screen you can select one of the presets with A2A missiles you want on the fuselage. Then edit the payload on the "mission payload" bar. Edit to your heart's content. When finished with the mission payload highlighted, press the "copy" button at the bottom to save it as a preset. The downside being you might have to first select "CAP" as the task, select the payload you want, switch it to the task you want the AI do to, then save a copy of that A2A payload. When switching tasks for the AI it should keep the mission payload the same. As you can see in my attached screenshot I can't manually put AIM-7s on that loadout, but by doing what I said above I was able to create that preset. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
