MAThrasher Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Next to TrackIR and HOTAS, Touch Buddy using a touch screen ranks next in immersion of sim. Will BS be able to run Touch Buddy in local mode, or will it have to be run in Server/Client mode? Lastly, will the sim come with hi-res 2D panels for all the instrument panels? These panels with switches make it easy to turn every switch into a button for Touch Buddy.... Thrasher Windows 11, GPU: RTX-4090, Ram: 32gb, CPU: 12700k, Headset: Varjo Aero
brewber19 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Hi Thrasher, TB being able to run in Local Mode vs Client/Server, if memory serves, generally has little to do with the game/application being run and more to do with WinDoze and a 'live' application window losing focus etc. Zorlac, the creator of TouchBuddy, will know the proper technical answer I'm sure. I wouldn't expect ED to include 2D versions of their gfx to make a TB profile easier; you'd probably end up having to screenshot the cockpit in game then pull it all together in Photoshop etc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 487th Helicopter Attack Regiment, of the VVS504 Red Hammers
