streakeagle Posted May 30, 2021 Posted May 30, 2021 I have downloaded VKB software periodically over the years, but when I was trying to download the latest software for a new pc, it got blocked by windows 10. VKBDevCfg (v0.91.95) is identified as having a trojan: Trojan:Win32/Bomitag.D!ml [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

AeroGator Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 We test the FW on literally tens of computers with different OSs, including of course licensed Windows 10. If this warning appears on your computer there may be something wrong with security settings. Anyway, it is machine specific rather than firmware bug. > Best Regards from VKB Lair, AeroGator
horstweihrauch Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 I always click trust for the dcs related installers. Darkstar: Merged
streakeagle Posted July 6, 2021 Author Posted July 6, 2021 The previous FW does not trigger this alarm. False or not, something is different about it and windows 10 doesn't like it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
AeroGator Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 I would still insist on a more precise wording, like "Windows 10 on some machines doesn't like it". Because on the machines we use for testing the FWs everything is smooth and happy - otherwise we would never release the FWs into the world. 1 > Best Regards from VKB Lair, AeroGator
