Hi folks,

I'm not at my home and am happy to do a montage of my experience, but I'm wondering if anyone has this problem: Ever since updating to 2.7, my DOF Reality P6 jerks violently upon startup of a mission. The initial movement is random, and I don't recall having this issue in 2.5. 😞

I'm wondering -- is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way I could debug this? I'm not opposed to creating a client to capture the data, but am unsure where to start. (I do have enough experience programming web servers with Node, some C++, etc..)

Thank you 🙂

Seems like this a known issue, per the SimRace studio forum:

"IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING SWAY: DCS will cause spikes in Sway for unknown reasons while the aircraft is on the ground or when first loading into the game (air or ground). This is most noticeable directly after engine start, taxiing to the runway, or when loading onto a carrier catapult. This is a bug with DCS telemetry output. Sway Effect Smoothing has been increased to mitigate this issue."

I'm experiencing violent shaking upon loading up on the catapult with the F-14 on a Supercarrier. Interestingly, I don't get it if I'm doing the take-off missions; I got it first when I was doing a recovery mission and wanted to take off again. It happened multiple times when I was trying to launch after a landing.

Going over that SRS page, I noticed they adjusted the Surge smoothing back in November. I have these settings applied on my DOF reality motion sim. Still, the violent shaking happened. I wonder if I should just jam up the Sway smoothing effect? I do not want to lose any details because of that though. Anyone else with these issues?

Unfortunately turning smoothening sway up to 90% or turning it off completely still results in a kick of the motion rig. Please fix this bugged telemetry
