sobe Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 I have 4 TM Cougar MFDs and until recently all worked fine. When I use a module that does not have MFDs, I use my MFDs as button boxes. I have no problems with MFDs 1, 2 and 4. Only with number 3. Number 3 responds perfectly to the Windows/TM game controller app and all buttons light up when pressed. In the controller screen in DCS, the MFD responds perfectly to the key commands assigned to each button. So everything would appear to be fine. HOWEVER, IN THE ACTUAL GAME, ONLY ABOUT 5 BUTTONS WORK PROPERLY AND THE OTHER BUTTONS DO NOTHING. I have used the same profile that is in MFD 3 in the other MFDs and they work fine so the problem seems to be only in MFD 3. I have reinstalled the TM software etc to the MFDs, unplugged them, etc but nothing seems to correct the problem. Has anyone come across this issue before? sobe Posted June 17, 2021 Author Posted June 17, 2021 UPDATE: I have found a work-around for now with my MFD #3. I deleted the MFD #3 column in the controls setup and instead sent the button presses to RS Mapper and used RS Mapper to send the commands to the game---and it works. The only issue is that RS Mapper does not use the LWIN key as a modifier, but otherwise it seems to work. I am still puzzled as to why this is an issue.
