Bell Driver Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Is there anyway to bind the antenna elevation radar control to the winwing f18 throttle spring centering switch? I have configured the spring return to center rocker as a slider and three postion type switch in winwing software. As a slider I was unable to bind it at all; In the three way the radar carrot went full down or full up on the right side of radar screen and was unusable. Am I doing something wrong? Lol
rob10 Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Yes . I'll check and see what I have it bound to and set up in the WinWing software, but I use it for radar no problem (I assume you mean the leftmost button on the front of the right throttle lever?).
Bell Driver Posted June 23, 2021 Author Posted June 23, 2021 Yes its spring loaded to center and you can move it up then down it goes back to center. I'm assuming it's for the radar like on the real hornet. Thanks
rob10 Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Yep. Mine is 3 position switch in WinWing and bound to Radar Elevation Control - Up and Down in DCS. Works fine for me . Elevation caret should be on left side of the radar DDI, not the right.
Bell Driver Posted June 23, 2021 Author Posted June 23, 2021 I just re-did it and it works. Had to hold it down and set and then hold it in the up position and set. Thanks a bunch!
Svend_Dellepude Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 You can also just select the axis from the dropdown in that very same menu. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Win10 64, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, i5 6600K, Geforce 980 GTX Ti, 32 GB Ram, Samsung EVO SSD.
