peirof Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 Hi, I have a problem, I think it is more of a windows issue than DCS ... I explain ... I have purchased a 10-inch touch panel, to show avionics and to be able to handle it easily, the problem I have is that: - In windows 10, if I add it as a secondary monitor (Extended), when I use the monitor (Secondary) TOUCH functions, the touches are detected on the main screen (they are clearly seen on the desktop. So I can't handle the controls, what to put on that secondary touch monitor So I have tried to configure it as the main monitor (the touch), but ... - In windows 10, if I configure it as the main monitor, I touch them, IF it detects them on the touch monitor, but ... when it runs DCS it runs it on the 10-inch monitor, which is believed to be the main one ... What am I doing wrong?
No1sonuk Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 Glad you found it. I was going to go look at mine. I bought a cheap 10" touch screen for my CNC router (running XP), but the calibration was off, and the manufacturer's drivers didn't help. In a chat with the manufacturer's tech support, the guy said that the calibration is in the software on XP, but in the controller with Win 10. This meant I could hook the screen up to my Win10 laptop and calibrate the screen! In order to do that, though, I had to make it recognise the secondary monitor was the touch screen.
