Squatting Bear Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 I'm relatively new to DCS and hope someone can help me. I've recently downloaded the a-4 mod along with the Fucara. when I start DCS I keep getting an authorization denied error (see screenshot) and the a-4 doesn't appear anywhere. I go into the installed mod section in DCS and the Fucara is disabled and am unable to do anything there with it. I know its user error, but I can't sort it out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
MAXsenna Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 You installed the community modules in the core DCS installation folders I assume.Move them to the saved games folder and you should be good to go.Hope this helps.Cheers! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
Squatting Bear Posted July 10, 2021 Author Posted July 10, 2021 thanks for the reply. The path where I downloaded the mods are as follows: D:\Users\Matt\Saved Games\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft is this not correct?
Squatting Bear Posted July 10, 2021 Author Posted July 10, 2021 so basically I have to put the a4 and pucara separate path from the official game. Is that correct? I'm not the most savy computer guy. 1
Squatting Bear Posted July 10, 2021 Author Posted July 10, 2021 I've got it fixed. thanks you so much. 1
Motch Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 Hope someone can help me as I'm having the same problems.. With the A-29 mod plus the military/civilian aircraft mod. I downloaded them and put them into the correct folders but every time I start up, get that screen that SB had and it tells me I only have 2 days left in my authorization. Thing is, it's been over a week! Now, I moved my DCS folder from the C Drive into an external SSD Drive (D). In it, it shows DCS World. Once I open that, I have a ton of folders of which Bazar is one of them, so is Mods. Like him, I'm not to computer savy anymore and maybe have enough knowledge to become dangerous! Help and Thanks Motch
