WhatAmIDoingHere Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Hi All, I'm sorry for the noob question, I googled and could not find any references. Also searched the forum. I bought the Red Flag Campaign for the F16 and I'm having a blast and learning a lot. But I can't figure out for the life of me what "check north for container" radio call means. I usually get this call when egressing and declared dead "showtime you are dead". Could some good soul help me figure it out?

I believe that is a radio directive to immediately turn north to avoid the restricted airspace around Groom Lake/"Area 51". "Container" is a common brevity word for that block of airspace. 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
WhatAmIDoingHere Posted July 9, 2021 Author Posted July 9, 2021 @Raptor9 thanks. Next time I get the call I will check the map to confirm. But that makes sense.
