Issy
Hi! Tonight is the first time I've flown since yesterday's patch and I was not able to launch the Tomcat from the Supercarrier. I lined up on both cat 1 and cat 2, hooked up just fine, spooled up, saluted for launch... and nothing happens. I had to spawn a new plane to try again, hence why I did not try cat 3 or 4. Also we tried to launch AI Tomcats from the carrier and only one of them was able to launch off of cat 1, the other got stuck on cat 3 for the rest of the night, keeping us from landing on the carrier. One of my Hornet pilot friends also had trouble at one point getting cat 1 to launch him, but all the rest went just fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Issy
Ok so my problem may have been that it was night and I forgot that you have to flip the lights to launch now. We don't fly night missions all that often, so I had forgotten, but still not sure why the AI wouldn't launch.
Raven (Elysian Angel)
I seem to remember there is now a Special Option to automatically turn on the external lights upon salute. That nullifies the problem you had Spoiler Ryzen 9 5900X | 64GB G.Skill TridentZ 3600 | Gigabyte RX6900XT | ASUS ROG Strix X570-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 960Pro 1TB NMVe | HP Reverb G2 Pro Flight Trainer Puma | VIRPIL MT-50CM2+3 base / CM2 x2 grip with 200 mm S-curve extension + CM3 throttle + CP2/3 + FSSB R3L + VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | TPR rudder pedals OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS "HIGH" preset
