Hi! Tonight is the first time I've flown since yesterday's patch and I was not able to launch the Tomcat from the Supercarrier. I lined up on both cat 1 and cat 2, hooked up just fine, spooled up, saluted for launch... and nothing happens. I had to spawn a new plane to try again, hence why I did not try cat 3 or 4. Also we tried to launch AI Tomcats from the carrier and only one of them was able to launch off of cat 1, the other got stuck on cat 3 for the rest of the night, keeping us from landing on the carrier. One of my Hornet pilot friends also had trouble at one point getting cat 1 to launch him, but all the rest went just fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Ok so my problem may have been that it was night and I forgot that you have to flip the lights to launch now. We don't fly night missions all that often, so I had forgotten, but still not sure why the AI wouldn't launch.

I seem to remember there is now a Special Option to automatically turn on the external lights upon salute. That nullifies the problem you had 🙂
