Dear Team:

Can we have a new camera type with nice Lens Compression effect (Picture 3,4 background zoomed in)?

The current zoom system looks really good and comfortable but with lens compression we can make screenshots more cinematic (Picture 3).

Thank you.

Edit:

in DCS zoom in = bigger plane but background stayed the same.

in IL2 & real life optical lens zoom in = zoomed in plane and background.

Update:

RCTRL+num* & num/ (Zoom External in/out) thanks to Revi

Are you speaking about adding different size of "lenses" into DCS?
For example, a 35mm lens, 55, 100 etc, with their corresponding lens compression?

If not, i am not sure what you are trying bring across!

in DCS when you zoomed in you got bigger plane but background stayed the same.

in IL2 & FSX & MSFS & real life background zoom in too.

Ah i see what you mean (i think), try using right control and / or *, this way you can change your FOV, which simulated a lens compression effect.

If that is not what you mean, then i am afraid i do not understand your request.

  • Thanks 1
