RvL Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Im experiencing this already for quite some time. Thought it might have been a common bug which would have been fixed, but no. When i view my or any other plane with F2 or F3 from the front/ middle and the afterburner kick in, there is no engine sound. Its complete silent untill the afterburner stops and the enginesounds are back. Repairs didnt fix it. WOPR Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Is your air speed Mach 1 or higher when you do this? If so, you can't hear sounds because the aircraft is advancing faster than the sound waves. They never reach your "virtual ears." Try getting slow and then kicking in the afterburners and checking. 1

That sounds quite plausible to be honest. I'll check it out next time. Thanks for replying.
