What is the difference between "Evade Fire" and "Evasive Vertical Maneuver"?

I'm flying against some Bf-109's with the "Evade Fire" ROE option and they sure are going vertical 😄. I'm wondering if the logic has changed and these options mean different things now? Thanks for any up to date info.,

It's in the manual. Evade Fire means maneuver when fired upon. Vertical Maneuver is change altitude to try to avoid a threat, like flying low to hide from a SAM.
