SPAS79 Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 Eh that's a mission I'm going to hate. Between DCS crashing and me doing something stupid and getting shot down, I must be on my 6th run. See where the frustration comes in with long in/out flights and all. Anyway, onto business, Spoiler So I am in the third engagement, when the Iranians do a mechanized assault southwards. I have engaged the groups with CBUs before Davy comes in, then he nicely asks what I want. As the first group was sufficiently degraded, I wanted him to play with the second (the northern one) and select F4 for that option. BUT, as I'm using VAICOM, it reads "select 4" as "select 5" and I send Davy to orbit around Alpha. I tried recalling Davy with the F10 menu, but he would not answer. It's like I had one shot at asking him support and that's it. Again, game-isms but this was irritating... IDK if this is feasible with the scripts, but it would be nice if Davy kept responding to taskings like any other AI wingman would do, so if I fat finger (or mispronounce) an F5 instead of an F4 I don't have to forego a platform forever.
