Auger Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 I've been flying the Huey in the Vietnam server and have been working on SAR of downed pilots. No problem picking up a pilot in a clear area but what do you do when the pilot is in a heavily wooded area? I see in the Controls list that there is a "Rescue Hoist" but damned if I can get it to work. Is it a working control? What other option is there for the above scenario?
Marshallman Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 On the 4YA servers as you close for rescue they fire green smoke. In order to rescue them over water or over forest you have to hover in the spot for 10 secs. The pilot is then onboard. Does that exist for your server? 3XS AMD RyzenTM 7 9800X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 8 Core, 16 Thread, 4.7GHz, 5.2GHz Turbo, ASUS PRIME X870-P WiFi AM5 DDR5 PCIe 5.0 ATX Motherboard,Nvidia Geoforce RTX4090,Corsair Vengeance Grey 64GB 6000MHz AMD EXPO DDR5 Memory Kit,Windows 10 Pro Reverb G2V2

Thanks, I'll try hovering a little longer to see if they board. I guess the rescue hoist is non-functional.
