Game crash trying to load a mission file (hp reverb g2) (steam)

While trying to load any mission file, even instant action, the game always crashes. (it crashes before i get to the editor)

I have tried verify game files and the first time it found some missing files, but even after that it crashes. Tried verifying again but it did'nt find anything.

 

It's a fresh install without any mods.

Game works fine out of vr but I did notice that when i launched the game out of vr it does the first time installation thing every time (checked 3 times).

 

Just before posting this i tried one more time in vr but this time it blue screened my pc.... Tried once more after that but it was back to normal crashing.

There is a log zip for the crash i think is the bluescreen crash but when opening it i get a "unexpected end of archive" error

Hi, I had the same from 2 days ago.
I cleaned and checked installation. No way.
I renamed saved games DCS folder too. Same stuff.

The only thing that solved it was using DDU in Windows safe mode to clean Ndivia drivers and after that installing Nvidia's June drivers.

I even put old saved games DCS folder back and no freezing/crashing anymore.

PS: I have a Quest 2 myself, but I think is Nvidia last driver issue with VR and DCS

This just kinda helped me. However i had to go  2 drivers back but still isnt completely fixed. Now i can at least get into instant action cold and dark on caucasus but it crashes when i press quit and it still crashes when trying to load the editor.

The driver i got now is 471.11 June 22nd

I use the same drivers. I still have some crashed in PVP MP crowded servers but not anymore in siempre or MP light ones.

Did you cleaned and restored your installation from DCS Updater tool by SkateZilla?
I also did that. But I before backed up the DCS saved games folder, just in case.
