That's not a big problem, but somthing that could be fixed soo easily.

 

Even with the improved damage modeling to ships, ships generally sink way too quickly. I think it stands to reason that a frigate or destroyer completely disabled by hits with multiple harpoons above the waterline can stay afloat for hours, maybe indefinitely even. Of course DCS cannot model buoyancy and "time to sink" per damage type (would be cool though) so the time to sink must be an average value.

Since most weapons in DCS will hit above waterline, i would guess that ~30 min sink time would feel more realistic than the ~1min we have now.

 

Also as some kind of wishlist item, maybe add debris and burning oil spills next to a ship that was critically hit. Extra points for life boats etc. ... thanks...
