Parked aircrafts - Can they not just sit there??

Probably been asked before, just could not find it:

Can we not have Aircrafts on the tarmac not doing anything?

Seems the only way is to have them as static but that is no good as they are potential targets / missions objectives and if they are static then they are invisible in Tacview.

Could we not have planes with the order of just beeing parked?

Just set the aircraft as "uncontrolled"

I don't have this 'Uncontrolled' tickbox on my editor 😞

You must set the plane to "Take Off From Ramp" in order for the checkbox to appear

👍  ok got it.    Bit limiting though as it is then impossible to place an aircraft anywhere else but on existing slots.  Guess would be nice to have the ability to place an uncontrolled aircraft anywhere on the ground

Well, it works with helicopters (take off from ground). And perhaps with planes that can VT - like the Harrier. You may have to experiment.

EDIT: Yupp, you can place the Harrier anywhere as it sports the take off from ground option
