Unable to control Super Taurus LED backlight

Hi folks,

Just got the new throttle, but with a problem.

As the subject says, the 5 LED backlights right under the throttle(MAX, MIL, FRICTION, IDLE, OFF) is always on its brightest setting.

Cannot control brightness, or turn it off. It's even on when the computer is off.

I tried to sync it to an axis through SIMAPPPRO to no avail(other panels are all synced. Takeoff panel, combat panel, and lightings around the throttle)

No manual adjustment through test mode either.

Just did a firmware update but still no improvement.

Any thoughts?

First off Download the App from website once you do that to get the lighting to work with Game 100% you have to let the program run in background if you close it they will not Sync good luck sir.

Here is the download link area for winwing  https://wwsimstore.com/home/download/

Which by what you wrote you already downloaded it just make sure you leave app running,  Click on each device and then click on Backlight settings in Each device Tab inside SimApp once in settings click Sync to DCS after this just leave the app running start the game and your lights will sync just make sure you set the Panel Lighting on Takeoff panel for you brightness and dim for entire plane.

Hope this helps if not let me know well get it figured out.

I do have simapppro running in the background. The thing won't sync anywhere; not in game, not in app. Once I plug in the USB, it's just MAX brightness for those 5 leds. period.

I tried syncing manually, in DCS, and through an axis. My take off panel, combat panel, and every thing around the throttle base syncs wonderfully. But those five culprits just keep shining.

Throttle is a separate device, you should distinguish it from startup panel.

Distinguish or not, the led is still stuck at max brightness. Stays on even when computer is shut down
What I mean is it has a separate control page in simapp pro. What is your firmware version? 22d556ac86e319a6633c6f29a9e89a9e.jpg

That's the page I'm using. 1.21 for the handle and 1.40 for the throttle base.

I also noticed the brightness of the 5 leds is a lot more higher than other backlights at max.

Firmware is the same for me, yeah, brightness values are different for panels and for the base, manufacturing tolerances I guess. Not sure what is at fault. Maybe force another fw update of the base?

Yeah, did that too. At this point I'm leaning towards 'defective'

Hopefully support will answer my email soon.

Thanks for the trouble though.
