Agreed....the colour is not a true representation of the colour used in WW2 RAF cockpits,to show an example,below is a real Mosquito cockpit heating duct that has not been changed since it was originally installed at the factory.Below that is a screenshot of the current cockpit colour....you can appreciate....there is quite a difference.

 

I always go on old parts to confirm the correct colour,some of these restoration aircraft again,do not represent the correct colour/tone of the original colour used back in the day it left the factory.This colour green was used in most RAF WW2 aircraft too.....it was standard issue cockpit/interior green if you like.
