cfrag Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Currently, when you place a player aircraft to start on an airfield or FARP, a player can choose and spawn that aircraft even if that airfield or FARP is controlled by another faction. I would like an option to only allow spawning when the airfield belongs to the same faction as the player (blue/red) or the airfield/FARP is neutral; perhaps something like this: Having this options allows mission designers to add more plane options after successfully capturing airfields and FARPS. making the missions more interesting, fun, and strategically more challenging. Currently, this can't be done in single-player, and only works in multiplayer when using third-party scripts, making debugging these missions time-consuming (ME testing is always single-player). Can we please have this feature built in as an option for single- and multiplayer? Since the mission has all necessary data readily available at any point in time, it's really not that difficult to implement. How do I know that? I wrote a client script that does this for MP in an afternoon 4
Aarnoman Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 I second this, would be very useful for longer running missions.
