Flashing white smoke

[VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants]

I notice that some time, while smoke from a flying object, mostly missile, flashes and it occurs randomly. This does not happen in grey or black smoke.

I have the same problem, but with the new patch the smoke goes from black to gray and from gray to black continuously.
