“Go to alternate”

This is driving me nuts. 9 out of 10 times when contacting ATC with the intend to land at their base, I get “Go to alternate “ as an almost standard Vaicom Pro response.

I did read a posted conversation similar to this, but applicable to carrier operations. My flying is purely to/ from land based airfields.

Any solutions to fix this irritating issue?

I only have this problem on MP servers where there is a lot of traffic in and around the airport, where DCS will reply "go to alternate" when other aircraft are on the runway. If you fly on the Aerobatics Online server during busy times for example, this is a common ATC response. But, those replies are generated by DCS and have nothing to do with VAICOM as far as I know. Why do you think otherwise? If you think it's VAICOM related you might give some more detail about the mission and the VoiceAttack and VAICOM logs showing the issue. I've never seen anyone post this as a problem on the VAICOM forums, and its hard to know where to start without more info.

Like @sthompson says, this is not a VAICOM message. VAICOM does nothing except communicate with DCS. It merely passes the commands from the player to DCS. How DCS responds you hear and see on the screen. Except that VAICOM query and display which module you're currently in.
I have never been requested to alternate, but I rarely do MP, though being requested to go to alternate in SP as well, would be really immersive once DCS progresses and gets more "alive" in the future.
