nightfalcon Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 (edited) My Orion throttle suddenly stopped working. Tried to open SimApp Pro to investigate but it keeps crashing. I noticed that software loads up whenever throttle is unplugged, but when I plug it in it instantly goes "Not Responding". Its not even recognized by windows. Seems like its bricked. I'm out of options, anyone have any suggestions? Edited October 20, 2021 by nightfalcon
nightfalcon Posted October 20, 2021 Author Posted October 20, 2021 UPDATE: So same thing happened with Joystic base. Plugged in the joystick, Simapp Pro prompted firmware update and crashed. Joystick is no longer recognized and the app will crash on launch.

nightfalcon Posted October 23, 2021 Author Posted October 23, 2021 WinWing replied with suggestions and it helped. Had to unplug other USB devices, only mouse and keyboard left. After plugging in the throttle to a different USB port directly on the MOBO it got recognized and I was able to update the firmware.
