Topgun505 Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 So a couple of aircraft in DCS have the option to show a 'new' or 'worn' cockpit in their menu. Could we get the same kind of thing for the aircraft carriers? Looking worn is nice and all ... but (especially in the Forrestal) when they are SO worn that you absolutely cannot for the life of you see the runway/centerline markers on the deck ... that doesn't exactly help for doing carrier ops (especially when you are just starting out). It would be nice to have a feature to turn on that would make the markings on the deck actually visible from more than 100' away. 1 Topgun505 Win 11 Pro, Intel Core i9-14900kF, Gigabyte RTX 4080 Super, 128 GB DDR5, Corsair Hx1000i, Alienware 34" 2K LED, TrackIR 5 Pro, WinWing F-16EX, WinWing F-15Ex throttle, VPC Warbird rudder, Thrustmaster MFDs x3, Black Hog box.
Tank50us Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 I'm assuming this would be an ME option? If so, I'd agree, it would be a really interesting way to show the progress of a campaign as the carrier gets more and more worn down before eventually needing to return for a refit.
