Missing rock geometry and unnatural straight edges on Farallon de Pajaros

There is a big rectangular hole in the rocks on the south coast of the northernmost island Farallon de Pajaros visible from the shore:

The rocks around this rock formation and on the peak of the mountain have some unnatural straight edges. Especially at low sun angles, these are very noticeable.
