hasole Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 Hi everyone At night on the supercarrier, I've found that I can't salute to launch if I have the lights on. I have to turn the taxi lights off or the master lights off to be able to salute. In the special options I have it to auto blink the lights at night to salute, so when you do salute you see the light flash come back on for a second before it shoots you. I would assume on the SC at night you wouldn't use the light as it would blind everyone on the deck, however until we get hi-vis and wands for the people on the deck I use the light to taxi/hook up.

Aircraft don't move around the deck with their lights on (unless there's a brake failure I believe?). Specific to DCS, the deck crew respond to the act of turning on your lights (I.E. hitting the button) after sunset . If you taxi up and connect with your lights on, you would need to cycle them for the AI to react.
