Jaguar Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 as i see its allowed to put just one HumanPlayer for each of 4Ship Flight (Unit)? Is there a solution for the Fighterjets version? Its very importand to have an Package/Flight constulation for a mission. And allowing clients to taking place in the same Flight (Unit) is a big deal for a jetsimmer.
mckee14 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 i always set 4 singleships without any wingmen as CLIENT, and then i edit the names and numbers in a way they "match" as a fourship (Name "Flight1_Lead", Flight1_Wing1" etc) this way, they are sortet in the missionbriefing and its clearly visible for everyone which aircrafts belong together. for more than 4 players, you need to discuss the frequencies to tune in, every "4-ship" can use the datalink with no problems as long as they have a own frequency. but it's a pain in the ass to set all these flights in the editor by hand, one by one *iiks*. you have to go trough the whole process for every single human-controlled unit... creating weapon-loadouts, setting the waypoints... ED, please add a COPY/PASTE function in the editor :) so generally i really support your question about 4-ship flights with 4 humans in them... Democracy is choice, not freedom...
