VAICOM always on Easy Comms when Connected to SRS

Hi Guys,

excuse me if this has been covered or asked before. I search the Forums but found no usable Info. I recently noticed something that I am not sure is a feature or a bug. After a reinstall of SRS and Vaicom I noticed that when I am connected to an SRS Server and have Vaicom running it defaults to easy Comms. Here are my settings. Am I just missing the obvious ?

Easy Comms can be forced.

@MAXsennaYes it happens on all Mission where SRS is connected. If I fly not connected to an SRS Server then Viacom defaults back to easy comms off. If you check the screenshots I have Selector Dial Manual: Easy Comms off.
I am sure I am missing something I just cant figure it out.

Can you clarify what this means? In the screen shot the only selector dial I see is on the PTT page and it is set to NORM. The same screen shot shows Easy Comms ON.

Well, I don't really do MP and SRS, and the only time I get Easy Comms on in SP, if it's, (probably by error), enforced in the mission.
VAICOM should just display if EC is on or not, read by the mission, and not do anything about it. I'm not that familiar with SRS, but I would assume it wouldn't interfere or alter the settings as well, but who knows.
Now, there is another group that have reported something a similar issue, so maybe you guys discovered something.
And like@sthompson wrote. Your dial is set to Normal, but the dial has never had anything to do with the types of comms in previous releases, but I know the MP code changed a couple of versions back.

Attached screenshot is from Hoggit Training server, which does not enforce Easy Comms. I have SRS running and connected to their server, and Easy Comms are reported OFF by VAICOM PRO.

@all Thanks for your input, it has given me somewhere to start looking. I will delve back into my missions settings and have a look if it is enforced there. I will also go and check what the Vaicom status is on the Hoggit Servers.

So, does it happen on OTHER multiplayer missions, apart from Liberation Campaign missions?
Because that's what I asked in the first place.
Because if you have only tested Lib missions, that will not qualify as "other" missions.

So looks like it really seems to be forced via the mission. Just logged on to Hoggit and easy comms was off. Now I just need to get "easy comms" off on my liberation hosted mission.
