REL Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Hey All Just wondering if there is any future plan to add some support vehicle interaction , like for example : when you are requesting a refuel or a mobile electrical power supply and actually see the support tracks drive and park beside the helicopter until the action is complete in a reasonable amount of time . I think this is going to make the preflight period mach more realistic and fun then just asking the ghosts of the ground crew for the support and then get it after a few seconds (or a minute). (=8
GGTharos Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Eventually, maybe. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Shrubbo Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Maybe add a random real life stupid factor as well. For example drive up, attempt to hook up fuel, spill fuel, curse, hook fuel line up eventually, lite a smoke.:megalol: i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. Thrustmaster Warthog T&S, TPR Pedals.

We don’t really need that … let's just keep it simple and settle for the tracks to park near by … ok Shrubbo ?
REL Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Eventually, maybe. I hope so … that simple activity will help bringing the airport to life
Boberro Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I don't need this... For me more important is avionics, models detail and time spent on it than creating realistic crew on ground. I say realistic cos if it will be not good somebody would say it looks crappy and what for it is created if it is bad. 1 Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

I say realistic cos if it will be not good somebody would say it looks crappy and what for it is created if it is bad. That is exactly the point. There is no need to create a ground crew because the vehicles are there. All there is to do is combine the radio commands with the arrival of the support vehicles. I hope that implementation of the action is relatively simple. That type of scene will do: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/img/products/large/b76ee2eea5b8814edcd0de649e2e46d5.jpg
