Trouble With VR - i7-11700K, RTX-3080, HP G2

Hello everyone, I am having some issues with VR and would appreciate some help.

I guess my last post deleted all my text so here we go again.

I recently purchased the HP Reverb G2 after upgrading from the Oculus Quest 1, which I had no issues with. As of now, the game is almost unplayable at about 25 FPS. I have previously followed Thud's VR4DCS and had no improvements. Changing all settings to low made for no improvement, still about the 25 FPS. Opening DCS runs fine, up until I click "fly" and that's when FPS drops drastically. I uploaded some screenshots to show my current settings and the VRFPS screens. It appears my CPU may be the problem. I am not sure and would appreciate some help.

Currently running an i7-11700K OC, RTX 3080 OC (from Asus), 64 GB RAM at 3600.

Thanks!

Not sure if it's an actual issue but do you still have the Oculus software still installed? I'm sure I've read somewhere that it can cause performance issues with wmr headsets.

But you're right, CPU is the bottleneck. Have you checked task manager when it's bottlenecking on the CPU graph to see what's using the processor cycles?

I've been flying my G2 in combat now, and I can share my setup  I have the 3080Ti with an i7 11gen and 32GB RAM.  100% in SteamVR with Motion Repro ON.  In game resolution set to 3480x2160 (my desktop resolution is 1920x1080).  Only one monitor connected.  No Nvidia Control Panel changes required.  The key to running this resolution is to lower the settings in game to give you the highest FPS.  I turn terrain shadows OFF, terrain textures LOW, View Range low, MSAA x4, no SSAA, no SSAO, no SSLR, AF 16x.  It's working perfectly for me.  I hope this helps.
