MartinFulcrumSVK
Hello guys, I'm working on Slovak Air Force Mi-17 SAR skin for Mi-8 but I'm facing one problem. Original SAR livery has painted lower windows (image). Is it possible to paint or dim cockpit glass? I haven't found it anywhere. Thank you. (I wanted to post this into Mi-8MTV2 thread but only Mi-24P worked from all units in the skinning thread ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Quatapus
You sure can paint the glass. It's in the 'mi_8glass.dds' file. Using my template you'd want to paint on areas 6 and 7, and remove those sections from the Alpha mask as well.

Quatapus
Sweet! Looks great! Question though, is it opaque from the pilots view?

Quatapus
oh no! I'll see if I can find the file for the interior glass. So crazy!
