Hello,

I am running Lock On Flaming Cliffs on wide screen resolution 1920 x 1200 and the picture is distorted i.e. incorrect aspect ratio since the program assumes aspect ratio 4 : 3 while my LCD wide screen monitor has aspect ratio 10 : 6. Is it possible to adjust the aspect ratio (i.e. FOV Field Of View) of the program to match aspect ratio of my monitor?

Thank you.

regards/ Igor

Open up your graphics.cfg file in your C:\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Config folder with notepad

You would see this

DisplayMode

{

resolution = {1920, 1200};

bpp = 32;

fullscreen = 1;

aspect = 1.3333;

Interface

{

resolution = {1920, 1200};

bpp = 32;

fullscreen = 1;

aspect = 1.3333;

}

Simulation

{

resolution = {1920, 1200};

bpp = 32;

fullscreen = 1;

aspect = 1.3333;

}

Change all the 1.3333 to 1.6 (which is widescreen since 1920/1200= 1.6) The same principle applies to other monitor resolution like 1280x1024= 1.25

The one I listed above is the manual way of converting it since Lock On didn't fully support widescreen when it was released. Therefore, if you go into your options tab and change anything, those values will return back to 1.3333. Yea I know kinda a hassle to change it back to 1.6. But there's a program on lockonfiles.com, its called LOCFG, you can download that and it would make it easier to change it to widescreen. LOCFG also does any other things. Welcome to the forum.
