DCS VR not starting (goes to monitor instead VR) in Win 11

Hi all,

I have recently updated my windows 10->11, normal monitor dcs is working fine but VR is not loading/starting in my PIMAX 5X with steamVR. the DCS takes few minutes to load in VR possibly, at the end it starts in monitor.

 

please help to resolve the issue. thanks.

I had a couple of instances after upgrading when DCS did not show up in the vr headset but the 'VR image' was on the monitor.  Was unrelated to Win11 but to SteamVr.  quitting SteamVR / restarting WMR repluging headset sorted this one out.   Might be totally unrelated to your issue though.

Thanks a lot, @Brainfreeze, it worked. Actually I reinstalled it, then it worked. Btw, there is constant flickering issue and frame lags. Win 10 used to be 25-30 fps, win 11 is giving 10-15 fps.. any suggestion to improve it?

I do not have any loss of FPS with Win11 but then also have a 12th Gen i5 CPU.  Do check the 'startup' / background processes that the Win install default with (Teams in particular) they can be interfering quite a lot.
