I think I have a problem but im not sure could also be that I need te learn to fly to KA correctly. I have an X45 and I have the TRIM RESET and the TRIM button programed to my X45. My X45 is centerd in windows and in the DCS program I dont c any moving spikes when I move my X45. To create a deadzone. When I take off and push the stick and collective forward I get airborne . I pullup the gear get a slow forward speed and then I press TRIM button on joystick when I release my joystick the chopper quickly raise his nose and moves in all directions this also happens if I use the keyboard key for trim.I have all 3 autopilote buttons enable ( the blue ones on the right hand side ) If I press RESET TRIM it gets almost impossible to get the chopper in control. If I press AUTO HOOVER button the chopper raise the nose to high so that I slowly move backwards If I trie to correct it It goes forward , I cant hoover. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal. In FS X delux I have no problems controlling a chopper in reaslistic mode.

RedDevil Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) Yes I have a PCDASH 2 from saitek connected and programed some buttons on it. And I forgot to ask . If I press trim when Im in a slow or fast forward moving speed and my altitude is not moving up or down . I can release joystick and collective and still be moving in same direction with maybe a little drift ????? Now I cant do that I need to hold my hands on joystick to keep moving in same direction and speed. Isnt that why there is a trim button ??? So I can release my hand from joystick to use it to press buttons in the cockpit ? Edited December 3, 2008 by RedDevil

RedDevil Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 First off EVIL I did read the faq first and the dcs-bs flight manual. But thx for the reminder. And yes danger Autopilot is ON. I can keep the chopper steady and have complete control over it !! But the problem is I can take my hands from the stick to check for example the ABRIS , Scan for targets , preform inflight button pusshing......... If I press the trim button and I release the stick chopper goes out off control. If I press auto hoover button chopper keeps moving backwards it keeps his altitude and HDG but keeps slowly moving backwards. I have no other controls pluged in other then my saitek pcdash 2 wich is an extra small keyboard . I hope anybody can help me.

RedDevil Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 I did change the producers.cfg file did not do anything. Also unpluged the PC Dash did not solve it . I think the problem is my stick , but I have no problems with it when Im flying FSX . I fly with the PMDG 747-400 , LevelD 767-300 and small jets and props I always make perfect landings with it and have complete control over the planes. I think I will buy a new stick if this problems doesnt go away and hope it solves it.

I had some problems with buttons programed on PC dash and joystick.Cleared all buttons on on PC Dash that makes chopper move.Now I can hover but still have to make little correction till chopper hangs still.But thats no big problem. Got my first canon and guided rocket kills.Its very cool to finaly blow some stuff up LOL. Thx foor the help all.
