Unable to Load Missions

Hi,

 

If I try to fly a mission, it just hangs at the BS load screen (before the mission select screen).

 

In the editor, it just hangs, but you can get at the menu.

Please try to update your video drivers at first.

i had the same with some missions i downloaded. i had to delete them and downloaded again, then they worked.

 

try to save a mission in the editor (with nothing in it, maybe 1 unit...), then try to fly it or to open it again. if it works with that one, most probably your file(s) are damaged.

 

if not... well... update the video drivers then :)

I haven't changed my system config, or added new (created by me) missions that didn't work immediately afterwards.

 

The last thing I did was fly in "Instant Action". I'm intrigued as to why it would suddenly stop.

Fixed it!

 

It was the setting for non-Unicode apps. I set it back to Russian, and now the open dialog displays.
