Sparc Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 (edited) I'm running vr and with mid to high settings at solid 80 fps but soon as I turn on the TV it drops to 40 fps causing ASW to kick in and things just look funky. Is there a way around this? Does this happen to anyone else? I7 9700k oc 5ghz 2070s Ram 16gb All ssd Rift s Edited January 17, 2022 by Sparc
Boosterdog Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 "live" images on screens have always impacted DCS modules to one degree or another. The issue is often compounded by lower level flights as the system is generally working harder already. Ive never really found a way around it other than only using the TV when I really need to. Im not a VR user so there may well be a number of tip and tricks that are lost on me but, at least for the present, you may have to reign in some of your settings in addition to anything else. My understanding is that a 2070 is on the lower cusp of what DCS needs to run VR well.
