TerminallyIrish Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Flying mission two, push from waypoint 3. Get the AWACS call to turn nose hot on incoming MIGS. So I head NW and close with them. A lock one up, but I get the jamming indicator (line of dashes) on my radar. A few seconds later I get a MISSION FAILED for violating rules of engagement. I never fired, but was getting locked by the Mig-29 (I think he fired just before I got mission fail.) Any suggestions/ideas? Thanks all - loving it so far, but I don't want to glitch out on the second mission!

A fix for this particular issue should be included in the next patch; in the meantime, the workaround is to reduce your closure rate to force the MiGs inside of 30NM before they fire. With recent updates to the missile models, AI are firing at a farther distance than they used to and falsely triggering the "shots fired outside of engagement range" condition.
