King39 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Only happens when I pull back on the 5 Way Thumb hat for switch 19 (per the configurator software) it either doesn't register 19 or 17 instead of 19. Have been going back and forth with Tech Support since December making videos for them and sending profiles, blah, blah now they want me to send it to Lithuania for service - from the U.S. East Coast which will most likely takes years to get back. Anyone have any experience with this? Is there a possible workaround? Thank, John
imacken Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Are you talking about what you see in VPC Configurator or VPC JoyTester? Intel i7 12700K · MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 4090 · ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A Wi-Fi · MSI 32" MPG321UR QD · Samsung 970 500Gb M.2 NVMe · 2 x Samsung 850 Evo 1Tb · 2Tb HDD · 32Gb Corsair Vengance 3000MHz DDR4 · Windows 11 · Thrustmaster TPR Pedals · Tobii Eye Tracker 5 · Thrustmaster F/A-18 Hornet Grip · Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Base · Virpil Throttle MT-50 CM3 · Virpil Alpha Prime Grip · Virpil Control Panel 2 · Thrustmaster F-16 MFDs · HTC Vive Pro 2 · Total Controls Multifunction Button Box
King39 Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 It's what I see in the Configurator. The red light flickers on 19 and then back to 17 like there is a short in the switch.
imacken Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I'm sure you know, but it's what you see in Joytester that is important. That is what Windows sees. In Configurator, you will always see 2 buttons being pressed on hats - the centre one plus the one you are pressing. I didn't know that but I just checked on JoyStick Tester and it's doing something kinda funny: 16 in, 17 Right - forward, 18 down , and 20 up are fine but when I go Left (aft) for 19 I get clicking of 16 and then 19 in succession. Back and forth like it's shorting on 16 (or 19). Any ideas?
imacken Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Sorry, I don’t see that. If no one else has a suggestion here, then raise a support case.
