The Art of Warfare (TAW) has been the Premier online gaming community for over 20 years.  Flying with TAW DCS means being a part of a mature and well-organized group of DCS pilots dedicated to the principles of professional conduct, camaraderie, and making the most out of our DCS experience.  As one of several TAW DCS Battalions, the JTF-88 "hard core" battalion distinguishes itself with its pursuit of the most authentic and immersive pilot experience possible.  We focus on the fun and rewarding aspects of authenticity not the painful ones.  This means human ATC on all flights, real-world procedures and realistic radio communications, formation flying, persistent campaigns with detailed mission-planning, and a training and qualification progression that mirrors what real-life pilots go through.  As an F/A-18C pilot in the JTF-88 you also get to be part of a true Joint Task Force that conducts weekly joint trainings and missions with not only Hornets but also Harriers, Tomcats, Vipers, Warthogs, HIND's, and soon the Apache.

The VMFA-212 "Lancers" Hornet squadron is a carrier-based squadron currently operating off of the CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln supporting the JTF-88's latest persistent campaign in the Persian Gulf.  All JTF-88 campaigns are 100% custom-built by our talented in-house mission designers.  Recent personnel transfers to help populate our upcoming Apache squadron have created openings in the VMFA-212 and we are now accepting new recruits!

If you are interested and able to fly Thursdays @1930Z and Sundays @1845Z, then find us on DISCORD or send me a DM.  See you on the deck!

Spinnaker, Commanding Officer VMFA-212
