dedicated commands for close air combat 530 and magic with or without radar ??

Hello,

 

I saw in the RC7 manual that there are dedicaded close air combat auto détection mode with or without radar activation. I can't find within the binding key list what are the right one's

please could you show what are these cds for each kind of use

530 d close combat less than 10nm BA2 BAH and other BAV

magic with or without radar

Hi,

Looks like you are mixing modes here.

Close combat modes are selected using the weapon system forward and backward commands. These close combat modes force the radar into emission.

Which command activates which mode is listed in the manual, section 20 - 5, page 317.

When selected, the MAGICs are executing their own search pattern independently from the radar. The search pattern can be changed using the MAGIC search/vertical fix command.

The different MAGIC search patterns are described in the manual, section 10 - 3, page 110.

but i can't find the commands for "MAGIC search/vertical fix" only magic slave / designate

And can't find the BAV command for the 530d what ever I use forward and backward commands, I don't have the BAV but only BA2 and BAH

In 530D and POL modes, the vertical search is not available, it’s  replaced by spiral search (SVI).

The command name in the options is "Nav Update/Magic unlock", sorry I gave you the wrong name initially.

What are you calling BAV ? There is nothing with this name on the 2000C.

BAV is for me what we are colling in french "balayage vertical" ( I saw it sometime on the HUD)  in opposite to the BAH "balayage horizontal"

What does mean BA2 print on the HUD

In the 2000C, vertical scan is called "plan de symétrie" or PDS and horizontal scan is called "balayage acquisition en gisement" or BAG.

BAH and BA2 are two sub-modes of BAG using different PRF settings

The close combat modes are explained in the manual, section 20-1, page 269 to 274.

Is there a files including all keys to bind in order to use all combat mode with 530 and magic.
