FARP Radio Frequencies

Can I change the frequencies of the FARPs?

 

I have found the file where I can change the airport frequencies, but there is nothing about FARPs.

 

Btw, I cant read or speak russian.

Per default. All airports are 125.700

Farp's too if you have correct vehicles etc near farp.

I know the default frequency is 127.5 MHz.

 

But I would like to change them.

 

The airport frequencies can be changed by editing the corresponding file.

 

My question is, is it possible to change the frequencies of the FARPs too?

 

Because, in the file of the airports is nothing written about the FARPs.

it's only a guess, but they should be included inside every single mission-file. as they are not static buildings but placed "units", you should find them there.

 

but no idea, if they are saved with a frequency or only with the location etc.

 

(you can open the .miz files with winzip/winrar, just rename them from ABC.miz to ABC.zip. then, when opened, you can open and edit the files with notepad++, and save them. then, zip them again, and rename the file back from ABC.zip to ABC.miz)

Good idea, perhaps I can change the frequency of the command vehicle or the command post.

 

Otherways, I think I can life with the original frequency of the FARPs as long I can change the airport frequencies.

 

Normally I create only one FARP in a mission.

 

In a sim with that great realism I dont like to have all airports on the same frequency.
