FlashPan Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Hi All, Bought the English version yesterday and can't stop flying it! Haven't figured out the weapons or navigation systems yet, but I can start her up and shut her down now. The only issue I have, which is self inflicted, is that I somehow unmapped the mouse wheel from its old cockpit zoom function and can't figure out how to remap it. Any advice on this would be great! Flashpan PS: I have a 1680x1050 monitor with a 1280x1024 monitor, is this config compatible with the multimonitor setup? I heard that if the displays have different aspect ratios like mine, there will be a downgrade in graphics quality? -- RobP http://AncientArmies.co.uk

jaxterass Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Hey Flashpan, I struggled with this as well. It seems that when in Clickable cockpit mode, the mousewheel can only be used to rotate knobs in the cockpit and so on and not for zooming purposes. After switching off clickable cockpit mode (LAlt - C), the zoom function can be used again. Unfortunately, you can no longer click stuff so it's not as useful as it could be. Interestingly, after taking over control in a training mission, the mousewheel is mapped to the zoom function and you can still operate the cockpit with the mouse. Weird. Jaxterass
FlashPan Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 Hi Jaxterass, Found exactly the same thing here. Either zoom with wheel and no mouse control or mouse control with no zooming of the wheel. Love to know what settings the developers used on their training missions to get the best of both worlds.
